The Joe Morrell Pro Series 8-String Lap Steels feature a Kent Armstrong Stinger 7 single coil Alnico V pickup. This epoxy design has a 2 core lead and is wound just slightly hotter than vintage to have a smooth warm single coil tone and offers great versatility that lends itself to many different tones and playing styles. This model is available in a solid maple body with a slotted headstock and upward facing tuners as well as a solid poplar body with a standard headstock. 

The maple body yields greater sustain and volume projection while the poplar body ads warmth to the sound. 

The Joe Morrell Pro 8-Strings are available in an assortment of finishes. Availability of certain finishes/configurations may vary.
